Today I want to talk about one of the most promising and intriguing features of the game. What games are generally waiting for, the pvp system. The BD has a lot of supposedly unique and simply interesting features, but here I won’t consider them at all (you can read the list of main mechanics at the link), the most important thing is PvP. It’s everywhere here. Every step of the way. Free. Yes, this is exactly the detail (but not the only one) that makes Black Desert stand out from most other MMORPGs. Not only free PvP, but also PK. And if you take into account that the world in the game is completely open, without division into locations, then the dream of any hardcore player will appear before your eyes – danger always and everywhere, the opportunity to bend here and now, or there and then. Not only during a siege or guild war, but anywhere and anytime – well, except for rare peaceful settlements. This really inspires optimism, at a time of general simplification, rendering. At a time when developers lead players by the hand through the prairies of single-cell gameplay. We go to kindergarten, then to school, study at the university, find a serious job, and then return to the nursery in games. Or to the fear room, where you ride on a train, looking at the rides, being horrified, but being completely safe.
It’s nice to know that Pearl Abyss, the developers, decided not to bend to the changing world, but to follow their own path. Make a game that they like first of all, make the game of their dreams. Well at least that’s what they say. From what was seen at the last PTA, the guys are keeping their promise. This means they are taking a huge risk that in the current gaming industry it could be like death. But let’s believe in the best, in the furor and turning the MMO world upside down.
So, what is PvP in Black https://bcgame-casino.co.uk/ Desert?.
PvP battles become available after level 40. Quite a controversial decision – such a high threshold, but you can look at it from the other side. There is hope that by level 40 the main number of rakaloids and farmers will be eliminated and PvP will be a real challenge. But one way or another, the publishers plan to reduce the level required for PvP.
To pvp or not to pvp – that is the question. In Black Desert the answer is obvious. In addition to adrenaline, the pleasure of bending over and vivid emotions, receiving enchanting pussy and increasing the HR from the increase in the number of kills, pvp here also has a mercantile interest. Killed players can be looted. Of course, you won’t be able to take all the enemy’s inventory, but sometimes they even drop sharpening stones – one of the most valuable things in the game. Considering that you can also rob trade caravans, robbery seems to be a very fun and profitable pastime. A reward that you can “touch with your hands” is always more pleasant.
How does the battle actually take place?? The combat system here is close to TERA – non-target. Maximum dynamics, dodges, jumps, rolls and all such shaolin. It looks more like a slasher film – fans of the series and Vova obviously won’t get used to it right away. Here, the combat keeps players on their toes from start to finish – every move counts, and agility can easily overcome strength. Archers perform pirouettes, try
keep the enemy away from melee range with acrobatic stunts – at such moments, Target fans will clearly go into satanic mode. The giant is a clumsy scarecrow, but in close combat it won’t seem like much of a thresher. In extreme cases, he can throw axes at an opponent, or jump and trample him into dust. The warrior doesn’t seem to have outstanding abilities, as usual, but he has a shield and a block. The mage is a master of range attacks, but can also be deadly in close combat if she develops the appropriate skills. In principle, this can be said about each class – they are balanced, and it all depends on the right build.
PVP mode is activated by clicking on the icon, it can be moved to any place on the screen – simple and convenient. But you need to be careful here. As I said before, Black Desert has PK. And that means the karma system. Killing players with PVP mode turned off reduces karma. Negative karma increases the chance of losing valuables upon death and aggravating guards in cities. I still haven’t figured out how to wash it.
In general, it’s impossible to even imagine this game without PVP. There are no instances here, all bosses will spawn in the open world – and players will, of course, not share them diplomatically. Considering that 5 more classes will be added (I hope they will also be balanced), the prospects for the game are quite bright.
